Paprikas

	Servings	4 @ 8 g each

2	lbs. Beef
1	cup onions, chopped
2	T. lard
1	T. paprika
1	tsp. Salt
1	wine glass	water
1	cup sour cream

Directions

1. Cube beef into bite-sized pieces. Peel and chop the onions.

2. Melt the lard in a heavy pan. Put the onions to fry gently. When
they are soft and golden, push them to one side and add the beef.
Fry together for 10 minutes.

3. Remove from heat and stir in the paprika and the salt. Return to heat
and add the water.

4. Bring to a boil; cover tightly and simmer for one hour. If needed,
add splashes of water to prevent meat from sticking.

5. Remove the cover and boil fiercely to evaporate all but the
last of the liquid. Immediately stir in the sour cream.
