Tighe
is a handsome blue fawn male with a very sweet temperament.
His forte was the oval track but, after a joint fracture in
2002, he had a recurring problem with one of his feet. Rather
than continue to race him and worsen the condition of the
foot, he joined Streaka in retirement.
Recently, his foot has become stable enough to allow him to compete in sprint races. Although he is well past his competitive days, he's been successful in the Veteran class.
Tighe is also more than happy to act as a training dog for up and
coming racers. His solid racing temperament makes this an
ideal role for him.
